Make Our Advantage Yours

About Intech

Intech is a global quantitative asset manager investing on behalf of pension funds, governments, endowments, foundations, and other institutional investors worldwide. Dr. E. Robert Fernholz, the eminent mathematician, and former Princeton University professor, founded Intech in 1987 offering investors an unconventional, mathematics-based approach to investing. Today, Intech continues to seek distinctive alpha sources for clients in five continents.

100% Client Alignment Intech is a private, fully independent company, owned 100% by the company’s founder, employees, and board members. That puts us in the best position to serve our clients’ interests without distraction from outside private or public equity owners. Our focus is delivering investment results our clients expect.
Distinctive Alpha Source Our investment process is unconventional. Intech doesn’t depend on forecasting stock prices or exploiting anomalies. Instead, we seek to capitalize on diversification for risk management AND alpha by constructing portfolios more efficient than their benchmarks and rebalancing them to unlock trading profit opportunities.
Tangible Client Benefits Because our approach relies on stock price volatility and correlations, it offers investors an enduring alpha source available in up, down, and sideways markets. What’s more, our alpha is potentially less correlated with alpha from conventional managers, helping clients construct a more diversified portfolio.
